Terms of Use

# MyLog Terms of UseEffective Date: May 22, 2026
Last Updated: May 22, 2026
Version: 1.0 (Player Launch)
> These terms cover the current version of MyLog: a local-only training journal for a single player, with a one-time unlock. There are no accounts and no cloud. A future update will add optional team features for coaches; when that ships, these terms will be updated to cover them. None of that is part of the app today.---## Quick Summary (Plain English)By using MyLog you're agreeing to a few common-sense things:- Use the app for yourself and your training. Not to resell it or pull it apart.
- The $9.99 unlock is a one-time purchase. No subscription, no auto-renew. Apple processes the payment and handles refunds.
- MyLog is a training tool — not medical, coaching, or league advice. Pitch counts and recommendations are informational only.
- You own your data. It stays on your device. We don't sell it, and we don't train AI on it.
- The app is provided "as is." We do our best, but we can't promise it'll be bug-free or perfect.
The full terms below have the legal detail. Questions go to [email protected].---## 1. Acceptance of These TermsThese Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Travis Mulcahy ("MyLog," "we," "us," or "our"), the developer of the MyLog app (the "App") and the website at mylogapp.app and its subdomains (together with the App, the "Service").By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor (a child under the age of 18), you represent that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian, you accept these Terms on the minor's behalf, and you are responsible for the minor's use of the App.---## 2. Who Can Use MyLogThe Service is intended for users age 8 and older. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the App.Because the current version has no accounts and stores everything on your own device, no registration is required and no information is collected from anyone — see the Privacy Policy for details.---## 3. The Service### 3.1 How It WorksMyLog runs entirely on your device. There is no account to create and no cloud service behind it. All training data you enter stays on your device — no one, including MyLog, can see what you log.### 3.2 What MyLog Is — and Isn'tMyLog is a personal training-log and stats-tracking tool for youth baseball and softball players. It helps athletes log games, practices, exercises, drills, velocity, and goals, all on their own device.MyLog is not:- A medical device or a source of medical advice.
- A substitute for in-person coaching or instruction.
- A source of official league, governing-body, or scholarship-eligibility statistics.
You should rely on a qualified medical professional for health questions, a qualified coach or instructor for training decisions, and your league's official scorekeepers for official statistics.---## 4. Purchases, Pricing, and Refunds### 4.1 One-Time Player UnlockThe MyLog "Development Toolkit" unlock is a one-time purchase of $9.99 (or local-equivalent price, set by Apple). It is not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal. Once unlocked, the included features remain available on the Apple ID used to buy them.### 4.2 How Payment WorksAll in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see, store, or process your payment-card details — Apple does. Your purchase is also governed by Apple's terms (the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions) in addition to these Terms.### 4.3 RefundsRefund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by MyLog. To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page (reportaproblem.apple.com) or contact Apple Support. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.### 4.4 Pricing and PromotionsPrices may change over time. Any future price change will not affect a player who has already paid the one-time unlock — that unlock remains valid. Promotional pricing, if offered, will be subject to its own terms displayed at the time.---## 5. Your Content and Your Data### 5.1 You Own Your DataYou retain all rights to the content you create in the App ("Your Content") — your logs, your notes, your goals, your drill libraries, your photos and videos, and so on. We do not claim ownership.### 5.2 We Receive No ContentBecause the App stores everything on your device and sends nothing to us, we receive no license to Your Content and have no access to it. We do not sell Your Content, share it with advertisers, or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.### 5.3 Backups Are Your ResponsibilityAll your data is stored on your device. We cannot recover data lost to device failure, theft, reinstalling the operating system, or accidental deletion. If your data matters to you, use your device's backup (such as iCloud Backup in iOS Settings) and the App's export feature to keep your own copy.---## 6. Acceptable UseYou agree not to:- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law.
- Misrepresent your age or identity.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
- Resell, white-label, or use the Service (or its data) to power another product without our written permission.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the App's security or access-control features.
